      "Sammy Hernandez, a member of George Mason's Final Four team last season, is interested in transferring to Duquesne. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Hernandez, a sophomore, played in only two games this season for George Mason (4-4) before being granted a release earlier this month."

      "Since recruiting current Dallas Mavericks rookie point guard Jose Juan Barea to Northeastern, Everhart has developed a familiarity with Puerto Rican players. Additionally, he is recruiting a number of other players, including point guard Javier Gonzalez, from Miami Krop High School; Steffphon Pettigrew, a 6-5 1/2 swingman from Elizabethtown (Ky.) High School; and 7-foot, 270-pound center Hamidu Rahman, from Ashton (Pa.) American Christian School."
