DU Alum Successful vs Pirates

The Pittsburgh Pirates faced an ex-Bucco and Duquesne alumnus this weekend, relief pitcher Joe Beimel of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Piitsburgh-area native pitched 1.2 scoreless innings in mid-relief on Saturday and Sunday.
