Johnny Higgins Released From NLI

PITTSBURGH – Duquesne University head men’s basketball coach Ron Everhart announced that guard Johnny Higgins (Baltimore, Md. / Randallstown / Notre Dame (Mass.) Prep) has been released from his National Letter of Intent.

“I had the opportunity to speak to Johnny and his parents at length,” said Everhart, “and we came to the conclusion that pursuing options outside of furthering his career at Duquesne University would be in Johnny’s best interest.”

Higgins signed with Duquesne last November.
