July's open evaluation periods for Division I men's basketball college coaches are just two weeks away (7/6-15 and 7/22-31). There will be a lot of reports from the camps (ABCD, Nike, etc) and AAU/club tournaments. For the better stories with more information, gotta be a Scout subscriber.

Duquesne men's basketball is rising. The recruiting Class of 2008 is one of the best in the nation.

Coach Ron Everhart's quintet improved from 10-19 to 17-13. Folks are legitimately optimistic about this season.

Women's basketball, will the Hall of Fame's Suzie McConnell-Serio at the helm, is also on the rise. This year's team was 15-15 versus 7-20 in 2006-07.

And the Dukes are really involved in Div.
