PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Kevin and Theresa Lisch of Saint Louis, the Atlantic 10 Men's & Women's Basketball Student-Athletes of the Year, are among seven student-athletes from the Conference named to the I-AAA Athletic Directors Association Basketball Scholar-Athlete All-America Team. The A-10 had six of the 26 selections to lead all conferences.

Each of the nominees was required to have a minimum grade point average of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) in undergraduate study and have been a starter or important reserve with legitimate athletics credentials.

Kevin earned third-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America distinction in 2009 and led SLU in scoring (14.1 ppg.), three-point field goals (70) and steals (40). A two-time Academic All-Conference selection, Lisch earned third-team All-Atlantic 10 honors this season.

Lisch is joined on the I-AAA by La Salle junior forward Yves Mekongo Mbala, a second-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American.

Theresa established schools records this season for points in a season, free throws made in a career and season, and points in a game (37 at La Salle). In the classroom, the Belleville, Ill., native boasts a 3.95 grade-point average as a communication sciences and disorders major and was named a First-Team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America.

She is joined by St. Bonaventure's Katelyn Murray, Traci Ray of Charlotte and La Salle's Morgan Robertson.

"It's an honor for the Division I-AAA ADA to annually award these academic all-star teams," stated Jean Lenti Ponsetto, chair of the Division I-AAA ADA Scholar-Athlete Team Selection Committee and athletics director at DePaul University. "These student-athletes personify the definition of student-athlete, both on and off the court. Our Association is proud to be represented by such a strong group of student-athletes."

A special Review Committee of Division I-AAA athletics directors were responsible for selecting the winners. Completing this task were Committee Chair Jean Lenti Ponsetto, DePaul; Pete Carlon, Texas Arlington; Don DiJulia, St. Joseph's; Gene Doris, Fairfield; Bill Husak, Loyola Marymount; Kelly Mehrtens, North Carolina Wilmington; John Planek, Loyola (Ill.); and Scott Street, Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Note: NCAA Division I-AAA includes school that do not play football.
