Top Prep Prospects at Robert Morris Next Sat.

Many of the top basketball players in Western Pennsylvania, as well as top players from all over the USA and Canada, will be among the 200 high school athletes at the Hoop Mountain PA National Boys Basketball Recruiting Showcase on Saturday, October 24th at Robert Morris University's Sewall Center in Moon Township, Pa.

The Showcase starts at 3:00 p.m. with "Skill Work by College Position" drills. Games start at 4:00 p.m. and will continue until 8:00 p.m.

Some top College Basketball prospects of note include Kiski School's (Saltsburg, PA) trio of high major Division I prospects:

  • 7-foot-4 sophomore center Sim Bhullar
  • 6-foot-9 sophomore forward Stefan Jankovic
  • 7-foot-2 freshman center Tanveer Bhullar.
Tanveer Bhullar has been mentioned as the #1 player in the Class of 2013 in the USA by at least one major recruiting site.

Admission into the event is $6 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. Children under 8 are free.

Hoop Mountain recruits top coaches from around the nation to coach at its camps. These include Head and Assistant College Basketball Coaches, Top High School Coaches and Top AAU Coaches. Hoop Mountain maintains a great relationship with many College Basketball Coaches. Following each Basketball Camp and Recruiting Showcase, Hoop Mountain will send a detailed report on each player in the camp to every Division 1, 2 and 3 Head Coach in the country as well as many Assistant Coaches. These reports have helped thousands of players gain recruitment and earn scholarships.

Hoop Mountain National Exposure Basketball Camps and Recruiting Showcases are directed by Coach Daryn Freedman, Director of Hoop Mountain PA, who spent 9 years as a Division 1 Assistant at UMass, University of Memphis, Northeastern University and Duquesne University, as well as 4 years working in the NBA with the New Jersey Nets and Philadelphia 76ers.
